Renea's journey began two decades ago. As a professional model and international
spokeswoman, she traveled the globe to some of the most exotic locations
in the world. During this time, her sense of style was heavily influence
by Spanish, Mexican, and European cultures. Having returned to the States,
Renea was a self-taught artist who achieved early success in her new career.
For a typical painting, Mediterranean blues, volcanic blacks, lava reds,
daisy yellows, or mossy greens might rise above the canvas in a textured
oasis of color. Geometric shapes swirl in a vibrant display of movement.
The artist, as beautiful as the masterpieces she creates, is part sculptor,
part painter, and part designer.
With an increasing demand for limited edition prints, Renea has partnered
with publishing experts, Artizen, to reproduce her unique combinations
of color and texture.
Originally from Houston, Renea was self taught at first and later studied
under Diana Skripka of Houston, TX and JD Miller, artist and owner of
REFLECTION Fine Art Gallery in Dallas, Texas. Today, Renea continues to
expand her creative techniques and broaden her commercial appeal. She
resides in Houston with her two children.
Renea's
works can be seen at Waxlander Gallery, 622 Canyon Road.
